A Field of Ribbon Grass and Wishes

It was nearby summer when we set up camp that day

near the old mountain cabin with the rusted out sink and the butter churning

It was just past dandelion season with the butterflies streaming in the sun

Funny how the times slip under each other in a morning full of wishes.
