Yoshina Cherry Trees, East of the Central Park Reservoir

Shall we stay together one more spring?

I’d like to taste a cherry blossom on my tongue

and feel the fading winter hand in hand.

We could hear the dappled shadows whisper--

We could walk the petal carpet one more time. 

I’d like to do that.
