Reservoir Apples

Can you believe it?   This apple tree has appeared out of nowhere!  I've been  round and round the Central Park Reservoir a thousand times, and not a single apple!  Is it the hurricane?  Perhaps it took a small Earthquake?  What a beautiful sight.

Any analogy for many things we don't see at first but are there none the less… eventually revealed.
Perhaps because the fruit are now ripe? They started green, most likely, and now are a beautiful red against this amazing fall sky and ready to be enjoyed! Thanks for the pointing them out.
