Rain Dappled Garden Path

Is there anything more enticing than a garden path after a summer rain?

Pale Lady of the Secret Garden Returns

Image
Oh, it's great to return to my home all clean, but Where is my dubious, shady patine? It's great to be back in my pond alright, but Where are the greens and the darks and the light? Where are the dabbles and dribbles and tears, Engraved in my gossamer over the years? I'll start over, I guess, and in no time at all I'll be dripping and messy and ready for fall! Our beautiful lady of the secret waters--returned after being scrubbed

Rescue Mission

One moment ago, this lampost was teetering on the brink! This happens every now and then, when conditions are aligned. Fortunately for all of us, a bevy of blossoms were floating nearby and came to the rescue just in time!. Secret Garden, Central Park

Colorado UnEdited

On the way to Crestone... Drawing closer ..... Crestone Community Flower Planting...  Larry C. Linda Jo C. *Note for those who do either do not get or do not open email... Hello Everyone, Here I am in Colorado in the gorgeous early June green. These photos are unedited, since I am on a MAC that I don't understand. I know I can't exactly make this a mission for the day, but if you can arrange it, even in dead of eary morning or late night, get a small plant, and sneak it into a tree bed or a nearby plot. Be aware, though, that it then becomes your very own and may need watering--unless, of course, you can purchase a very hardy New York Street Plant. Love and best wishes for a blossom-filled day, Linda Jo

The leaves of summer

Image
Let the sap of summer nourish me, like a small bough, with a leaf stuck for life to its limb. Let the autumn wind care for my soul. So what if winter crawls over my roots!

Messy Cherry Blossoms

Image
I told all my blossoms to wait for the bell and then bloom all at once in a flowerly spell! But they burst out whenever, however, wherever, and now it's a tangly blossomy hell!

Brave Buds

Sweet green bud wrapped tight as a new umbrella sneaking out from winter covers betting its life on another spring.
